VFILES, the downtown New York City-based web portal for all things digital fashion, is expanding into wearable technology in a major way
The business told Mashable that it would explore wearable technology with their own in-house brand in collaboration with the fashion technology company, Studio XO, the same creative team behind Lady Gaga's flying dress, Azealia Banks' "digital mermaid bra" and interactive clothes for the Black Eyed Peas. The two will unveil their new collection under the name VFILES_XO, which will be sold online and in VFILES retail stores
Though both sides are tight-lipped about the initiative, Julie Anne Quay, VFILES founder, says it would "involve color, an app, music." Read more...
