With a title like "Kill the Boy," Game of Thrones Season 5, Episode 5 must have had plenty of fans waiting eagerly to see which character would bite the dust this time. Luckily, the phrase wasn't meant to be taken quite so literally.
It was neat hearing Maester Aemon — a.k.a. Aemon Targaryen, it's worth recalling — talk about Dany, his last living relative (as far as we know). But his advice to Jon was much more important: "Kill the boy, Jon Snow. Winter is almost upon us. Kill the boy, and let the man be born."
