In what may be the best session description in the history of developer conferences, Google revealed the same team behind its modular smartphones and 3D-sensing tablets has a new type of device planned for this year's I/O: a wearable.
Google's mysterious ATAP (Advanced Technology and Projects) group will show off a new wearable that will "blow your socks off," a session description for the May event teased.
"Our goal: break the tension between the ever-shrinking screen sizes necessary to make electronics wearable and our ability to have rich interactions with them," the description says of the so-far-unannounced device. Read more...
