
Donald Trump has fans in North Carolina — so many, in fact, that he is currently the top choice for president among Republican primary voters in the state.
According to Public Policy Polling (PPP), an automated North Carolina-based polling firm, Trump is building some serious momentum among Tar Heel voters
Despite being a divisive figure across the nation, Trump has the support of 16% of the voters polled according to PPP. He is followed closely by Jeb Bush and Scott Walker who each have 12% , while Mike Huckabee is just behind at 11%.
