TierItUp has announced the release of its TripSee app on iOS and Android. The travel-planning app was designed to help users find locations to visit when they travel, as well as organize their trip itineraries.
With TripSee, users can create dream trips, or import their actual travel information (like hotel and flight information) for upcoming trips. When creating a trip, users can add individual cities to a travel map, and the app automatically creates an itinerary based on the cities and locations users say they're going to visit.
When users add a destination city to their trip map, they are shown a list of nearby points of interest (users can view these attractions later by tapping a city on the map). The app analyzes data from multiple public APIs to determine the most visited destinations and landmarks in each location to help users find the best spots.
Attractions are listed alongside descriptions, images, reviews, contact information and more (all where available), and users can select specific attractions to add to their trip's itinerary. This includes the ability for users to specify the amount of time they'll spend at these locations.
TripSee supports adding custom items to trips for activities that may not take place at traditional points of interest. In addition, as plans change, users can remove specific items from their trip itinerary, or reorder them to reflect their new plans. Finished trip plans can be shared through Facebook or email.
In a statement, TierItUp CEO, Robert Larmore, commented:
I've always enjoyed planning my own vacations, but I found that it was extremely time-consuming to try to plan out a trip using four or five different websites to research places, points of interest, local hotspots and restaurants. That's what ultimately lead to the creation of TripSee. I wanted all of those resources in one place.
TripSee is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
