Social and mobile game company Old Man Interactive, founded by Rick Harrison and Jim Scott, has announced the release of Rick Harrison’s Trivia Challenge on Facebook and mobile platforms. Harrison is best known for his appearances on History’s Pawn Stars, where he shares his knowledge on all things, from sports memorabilia to military antiques.
In Rick Harrison’s Trivia Challenge, players will complete 300 timed levels of rapid-fire multiple choice questions, each challenging them to answer a minimum number of questions correctly to pass the stage. Levels offer questions from a variety of categories, including news, sports, music and films. The game’s name is appropriate, as many questions are quite challenging, and players may need to play some levels more than once (with new questions) to move on.
The game features other stars from Pawn Stars, including the Old Man, Corey and Chumlee, who offer advice or power-ups during stages. These powers are available via in-app purchase, and may add additional time to a stage, or remove incorrect answers from a question.
As players complete levels, they earn gold coins, which can be exchanged for memorabilia, such as t-shirts, hats and other items or \"experiences\" from the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas. In addition, once players complete all 300 levels in the game, they’ll be entered to win prizes, including a meet and greet with Harrison.
Rick Harrison’s Trivia Challenge is the debut title from Old Man Interactive, and is now available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play. The game is also available to play for free on Facebook.
