Bomb squad blows up suspicious suitcase at Los Angeles airport

A police bomb squad blew up a suitcase at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday, after smoke was seen coming from the bag.

The controlled explosion took place outside Gate 22A, located in Terminal 2 at LAX. Clothes were strewn about the suitcase after the explosion.

ABC7 in Los Angeles reported on the smoke, whose cause has not yet been determined.
