Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake fired Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts on Wednesday, about a month-and-a-half after their city became the new center of a national debate about police brutality in America
"Today Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake announced that she has decided to replace Anthony W. Batts as the Baltimore Police Commissioner," the mayor's office said in a brief statement
