After almost 20 years of rumors and requests, Square Enix is ready to announce Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The game's existence was revealed during Sony's E3 press conference with a scene-setting cinematic trailer that brings fans back to Midgar and the lands surrounding it. Other than some familiar sights and a well-placed peek at Cloud and his iconic Buster Sword, the title is literally all we know at this point
Sony's announcement makes it clear that Final Fantasy VII Remake is a "first on PlayStation" release, which suggests that the long-hoped-for, completely unexpected remake is coming to other platforms eventually. Read more...
